NaNoWriMo 2016 is OVER! *This post is a little late*
We’re halfway into December and I have never been so glad for NaNoWriMo to be over, nor have I ever been so exhausted by the end of one!
Don’t get me wrong, I love NaNo, but something about this year… Maybe it was the stress I already felt because SideStreet Cookie Publishing has grown and I wasn’t able to set everything aside and just write. Or maybe it was the two stories I chose to work on.
I finished The Canyon Edict, my time travel novel, and my plan was to finish one of the stories I started for 2015’s NaNoWriMo, but that proved to be more of an effort than I thought it would be. It’s a story that I’m going to need to focus on. There’s no rushing through this one if I want it to be worth anything by THE END. There will be more on that story later. It’s a weird one. I’m not going to lie. If you like dark romance, well, this one is definitely for you.
